Antique victorian turquoise navette ring, in 9 carat gold

An absolutely stunning ring with so much character, this navette shaped piece is adorned with nine gorgeous pearls of natural green & blue turquoise stones. This ring is magnificently unique, coming from the Victorian era with so much of the style influence to show for it. Each stone a different hue and colour, creating a checkerboard-like look. The mis-matched colours of the stones work so perfectly together, creating a bold and spirited look. Beautiful tones of warm buttery 9 carat gold throughout the piece, each stone encased in a bezel setting with cannetille work flanking the outer edges.

Delightful spade or sword-like shoulders hugging either side of the face, followed by a smooth polished gold band. This ring looks breathtaking on the finger! Turquoise has a rich history of being associated with protection, healing, success, and good fortune. It's also the birthstone for December. A charming example of Victorian jewellery, this ring has a long history behind it.

This piece is in antique condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. Some marks to the face of the ring, tarnish and wear shown to the band. Slight bending to the shank/band, does not affect wear.
