Where timeless beauty meets a passion for history

Citrine Antique Jewels is a small, independent business run by me, Liz, built on a love of objects that carry age, story and character.

About Citrine Antique Jewels

A little more about me and the business

My background is rooted in the antiques industry, where I have worked closely with jewellery and period pieces through appraisal, valuing and auction houses. Over time, that experience taught me how to look beyond surface appearance and understand how a piece was made, how it has worn and how honestly it has survived.

That perspective shapes everything I source today. I am drawn to jewellery that feels genuine, well made and quietly distinctive. Pieces with character, subtle signs of wear and a sense of individuality that cannot be replicated in modern production.

How I source

Chosen for how it feels, not just how it looks

Every piece you see here is personally sourced and chosen by me. I look for jewellery that feels wearable, considered and full of character rather than overly restored or anonymous.

It is important to me that each piece retains its integrity. I want you to feel its history, not lose it.

The experience

Personal, thoughtful, handled with care

Based in York, I run Citrine Antique Jewels entirely myself, from sourcing and research to photography, packing and posting. Every part of the process is handled with care so that buying jewellery feels personal and reassuring.

Clear and honest descriptions are important to me. Antique jewellery is never perfect, and I always aim to note condition thoughtfully and accurately. These details are part of what make each piece special.

Whether you are marking an occasion or simply choosing something you feel drawn to, I hope you find a piece here that feels right for you.
