Citrine Antique Jewels is a small, independent business run by me, Liz - just one person with a long-standing relationship with objects that carry age, story, and character.

My background is firmly rooted in the antiques industry. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with jewellery and period pieces through appraisal, valuing, consignment, and auction houses, handling everything from everyday finds to truly special examples. Spending time with objects in this way teaches you how to look properly - not just at how something presents, but at how it was made, how it has worn, and how honestly it has survived. That experience naturally shaped the way I source and select jewellery today.

Every piece you see here is personally sourced and chosen by me. I’m drawn to jewellery that feels genuine and well made, with a sense of individuality you don’t find in modern production. Whether it’s a ring with gentle signs of wear, a pendant with quiet charm, or something a little unexpected, I look for pieces that feel wearable, considered, and full of character rather than overly restored or anonymous.

Based in York, in the north of England, I run Citrine Antique Jewels entirely myself. From sourcing and research to photography, packing, and posting, every part of the process is handled with care. I believe buying jewellery should feel personal and reassuring, so I’m always happy to answer questions, provide additional details, or talk through a piece if that’s helpful.
