Antique victorian curb link albert chain, in 9 carat gold

This lovely example of an albert chain is an absolute treasure. Crafted in warm 9 carat rose gold throughout, the chain style is a gorgeous and durable curb, hallmarked on every single link. The t-bar is affixed to a slider, meaning the t-bar and extra link/charm holder can be moved along the chain freely. Hanging alongside the t-bar lovely extended link with a bolt ring suspended at the bottom, perfect for charms, fobs or pendants.

Finished with a dog clip and a bolt ring to clasp, this chain and each of its components are incredibly desirable, each feature just absolutely elevating this piece. A stunning example of Victorian chains and the charm, craftsmanship and character that we see so often in jewellery from that era. This piece remains versatile, perfect to wear solo or for layering with other chains.

This piece is in beautiful antique condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. Reasonable wear and patina throughout. The clasps are in full working order and securely fasten, one bolt ring has been knocked but does not affect wear.

The chain measures 15.5" / 39.5cm in length. The links measure 3.8mm in width.
