Vintage amethyst & pearl lavaliere pendant necklace, in 9 carat gold

This divinely ornate piece has gorgeous height to it, beautiful details all working together to create a one of a kind piece. Adorned with eighteen seed pearls, all completely unique and varying in size with gorgeous creamy lustre to them. Classic art nouveau shape, long arms cradling each side of the pendant. Gorgeous heart shape studded with seed pearls framing the central oval cut amethyst which is hugged by a beautiful floral scalloped edge bezel setting.

The chain is a dainty cable chain, measuring 18", also in solid 9 carat gold.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February - this gemstone is said to invoke feelings of serenity and calmness, alongside encouraging creativity. Pearls have strong connections to love & affection, as well as good luck and wealth. In Ancient Greece, it was thought that wearing pearls on your wedding day will prevent future tears from falling. This piece is truly stunning, a very unique piece in such fantastic condition.

This piece is in beautiful vintage condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. Patina as shown, nothing that detracts from this piece and all expected with a piece of this age. The stones are in gorgeous, well kept condition, all secure within their settings and no visible flaws. The chain & clasp are in full working order and very minimal patina.

Pendant measures 4.5cm in length and 2.3cm in width. The chain measures 18" in length.
