Antique victorian fox head pin with pink topaz eyes, in 9 carat gold

Beautiful figural piece, this victorian pin is crafted in warm, dusky 9 carat gold. The fox's head is intricately etched with detail, with two lovely topaz cabochons for eyes.

The foxes head is a popular sporting motif, whilst also symbolising transformation, intelligence and intuition.

Topaz is the birthstone for November.

This piece is in great antique condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. No major wear shown to the piece with minimal patina. Stones secure in setting, eye clean with no chips or cracks visible.

Length measures 5.5cm.
The fox head measures 7.4mm length, 6.8mm width and 8.5mm depth.
