Antique georgian citrine and seed pearl ring, in 9 carat gold

A stunning heirloom beauty, this Georgian ring hosts a huge faceted citrine stone, surrounded by a halo of thirty two seed pearls. This petite ring has a magnificent aura, having lived through a couple hundred years and many different chapters, it truly is a treasure. The seed pearls are threaded around the perimeter of the ring's face, with four gold forget-me-not metalwork flowers stationed in each corner of the gallery. The citrine is bezel set, with fine cannetille or milgrain style details surrounding the base.

The shank is incredibly detailed and decorative, a scrolling foliate pattern reaching round the entire band, terminating at the shoulders. The shank itself shows evidence of repair work, this piece has lived an impressively long life and has the character to show for it. A UK size E or US 2.5, this piece is petite. It looks wonderful as a bold pinky ring. Approximately 6.00cts worth of warm citrine, one of the stones of abundance, a happy stone that brings positivity and prosperity - it's also the birthstone for November.

This piece is in antique condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. Citrine is in fantastic condition with minimal wear, secure in its setting. Band shows signs of wear and repairs, plenty of wear, rubbing and tarnish.
