Antique celestial pearl double locket pendant, in 9 carat gold

A beautiful celestial inspired locket pendant, crafted in 9 carat gold and hallmarked for 1905, this double locket pendant boasts an impressively detailed frame, hugging the round double locket face. 

Eleven lustrous seed pearls with beautiful nacre and hues are set in the decorative elements on the mount or frame, which flank either side of the bail loop. Two elaborate arms reach out from the central star suspended underneath the bail, which create a waterfall silhouette studded with seed pearls intermittently. Lovely honey-like gold shines throughout the piece, with crisp and clear hallmarks.

Currently hosting a wonderful hand-tinted Victorian photograph, this can be removed and replaced with whatever you wish - but we think she is wonderful and adds some very special history and character to the piece.
