Absolutely stunning antique piece, this elaborately crafted spinning fob hosts an impressive smoky citrine stone. The ornate frame is decorated with ornate engravings of a foliate nature, leading up to a central shield which is blank and ready to be engraved. Gorgeous hues of bright shiny gold throughout, with clear hallmarks & makers marks to each shoulder of the frame. The citrine itself is smoky and mellow, with golden hues throughout - not dissimilar from smoky quartz, which is of the same family.

Citrine is the stone of prosperity and abundance. Full UK hallmarks from Birmingham assay office and date letter for 1922.

This piece is in great antique condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. No major wear shown, few scratches here and there with minimal patina. Citrine in great condition, with tiny chip to one corner and a few light scratches - amazing considering its age.
