Antique botanical pearl band ring, in 18 carat gold
Antique botanical pearl band ring, in 18 carat gold
A radiant half hoop pearl band ring, crafted in rich 18 carat gold and hallmarked for 1928. This beautiful heirloom piece is both refined and deeply romantic, with a quietly elegant presence on the hand.
The ring is set with seven lustrous seed pearls, arranged in a graduated row across the face. Their soft, mellow lustre displays gentle creamy tones that glow beautifully against the warmth of the high carat gold.
Framing the pearls are leaf style details, scrolling along the face of the ring. This botanical motif adds movement and texture, enhancing the organic feel of the design. The combination of natural forms and glowing pearls is incredibly charming and evocative to the craftsmanship we see in antique pieces.
This ring is hallmarked with a crown and 18, with a date letter D for 1928 - the assay office mark is rubbed, but we can just about distinguish it as the anchor for Birmingham.
