An antique blue paste and seed pearl lavaliere pendant crafted in 9 carat gold, dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian era. Designed with flowing pearl set ribbons surrounding a vivid cobalt blue paste stone, the piece is finished with a delicate articulated drop suspended beneath.

Romantic and distinctly turn of the century in style, the openwork design reflects the soft, feminine silhouettes popular during the transition from the Victorian period into the Edwardian era, with delicate Art Nouveau influences seen in its flowing lines and naturalistic motifs. At the centre sits a flower shaped cluster surrounding the vivid cobalt blue paste stone, framed with delicate seed pearls and flowing gold scrollwork.
