A gorgeous antique Victorian Luckenbooth bar brooch, crafted in rich 15 carat gold and decorated with vibrant turquoise cabochons and lustrous seed pearls.

The brooch is formed as two intertwined crowned hearts, a traditional Scottish love token symbolising loyalty, devotion and enduring affection. Luckenbooth jewellery became especially popular during the Victorian era, often exchanged between sweethearts or gifted as sentimental keepsakes believed to offer love and protection to the wearer.

This antique example has such a delicate and romantic feel, with glowing turquoise stones contrasting beautifully against the warm buttery tones of the gold.
