A graceful antique gold brooch centred with glowing amethysts and seed pearls, suspended from a later gold bow fitting hallmarked for 1960.

The original pendant element is believed to date to the early to mid-20th century, formed as an elegant openwork oval drop and delicately set with four richly coloured amethysts arranged in a cruciform or quatrefoil floral cluster. A border of luminous seed pearls traces the outline, adding softness and light to the design.
