A charming pair of Victorian coral flower stud earrings, crafted in 18 carat gold. These delightful earrings have a joyful, organic feel, with natural texture and colour working beautifully together.
Each earring is formed as a sculptural flower, with softly hollow worked petals that give the design a hint of playful airiness. The bright, buttery gold is enhanced by a gentle antique patina, settling into the contours of the petals and bringing the floral form to life.
At the centre of each flower sits a natural coral cabochon, rich in colour and full of warmth. Coral is considered an alternative birthstone for April and has long been associated with protection and vitality. This pair is in antique condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. The coral stones are in great condition with minimal wear and secure in their settings. The flowers themselves show evidence of wear, knocks here and there, bending, natural tarnishing too.
One earring back is loose and does not screw on properly - we will still send it out however will also supply alternative earring backs too.
