Antique victorian opal & amethyst celestial cluster ring, in 18 carat gold

A beautiful Victorian opal and amethyst cluster ring crafted in rich 18ct gold, dating to the late 19th century. The ring features six luminous cabochon opals surrounding a central round-cut amethyst, accented by a further six vivid amethysts to the outer border.

The domed cluster face is finished with elegant scalloped edging and intricate openwork detailing beneath, allowing light to pass beautifully through the stones. The shoulders are particularly lovely, decorated with crisp engraved starburst-style detailing typical of the Victorian era.
