Here we have a super ethereal, mystifying, celestial Victorian piece. Crafted in high carat gold throughout, perfectly complementing the gemstone adorned face of the ring. A lovely floral openwork to the gallery and face, hugging six magical opals, a central amethyst and six further teeny tiny amethysts.

This beautiful ring dates back to the late Georgian / early Victorian era and has all the refined and exquisite charms that we see so often in jewellery crafted within that period. One of my favourite details to this piece are the shoulders, with crisp metalwork patterns that mimic shooting stars. The domed gallery has beautiful openwork details and a somewhat scalloped edge, reminiscent of petals.

I can't express how astonishing this ring really is - packed to the brim with detail, and gorgeous gems. Amethyst is the February birthstone. An amethyst ring is romantic and full of beautiful symbolism, associated with calmness, spiritual clarity, royalty and courage. Opals represent hope, truth and clarity - also channel encouragement and emotional strength, inviting in positive change. The official birthstone for October, this mystical stone is the perfect all-rounder. It totally helps that they are stunning, a beautiful kaleidoscope of colours harnessed in each gem.
