A gorgeous late Victorian or early Edwardian era pendant necklace dating to circa 1900, crafted in 15ct gold, set with apple green peridot stones and shimmery seed pearls in an openwork, nature-inspired frame.
The chain is a dainty cable link, the terminals hugging a sole oval cut peridot which is suspended above a fabulous bar detail. This bar is decorated with a pearly quatrefoil detail, the openwork frame effortlessly suspended at the bottom the buttery gold panel. This gorgeous centrepiece has pearl leaf details, a round cut peridot sitting pretty above - creating a floral form.
The chain is finished with a bolt clasp/spring ring and is crafted in 9ct gold, the pendant in 15 carat gold. This piece has a lovely springtime feel to it, feminine and dainty in its aura and I have to say it strikes me as a wonderful choice for a bride.
