Antique victorian seed pearl and aquamarine pendant, in 9 carat gold

A gorgeous romantic Victorian piece, this pendant has some wonderful art nouveau elements to it alongside some beautiful gemstones. Crafted in 9 carat gold throughout, a warm and sunny honey-like hue that really shines alongside the lustrous seed pearls. The elongated airy arms provide a lovely height to this piece, curling in to an ivy leaf motif which flank a central flower - all studded with shimmery pearls. The ivy leaf symbolised everlasting love and fidelity, in the Victorian language of flowers.

Underneath the gorgeous openwork frame, a trifurcating waterfall hangs above a delicately suspended aquamarine. Aquamarine is the birthstone for March, it's said to represent happiness, hope and everlasting youth. Pearls themselves have strong connections to love & affection, as well as good luck and wealth.
