At the centre of this ring sits a substantial, vibrant purple amethyst, rich in colour. The impressive size of the gemstone is beautifully enhanced by an open basket gallery, which adds height and a little bit of drama. Surrounding the amethyst is a patterned, asymmetrical gold halo, giving the ring a distinctive, artistic edge with a super modernist feel.

The ring offers exceptional finger coverage of just over two centimetres in length. Bright, warm gold tones run throughout, further emphasised by the tapered band which provides an elegant contrast to the scale of the setting and allows the amethyst to take centre stage.

This piece is in beautiful vintage condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. The gemstone has some minor wear visible (scuffs, scratches etc) when examined, yet secure in its setting with no chips. The band shows minimal patina.
