Vintage ruby & diamond half eternity ring, in 18ct gold

A gorgeous vintage ruby and diamond half eternity ring, crafted in rich 18 carat yellow gold and hallmarked for 1987 as a London import.

The front of the band is set with seven alternating round-cut rubies and diamonds, creating a beautiful line of deep raspberry red and bright white sparkle. The stones are individually set within a wonderfully substantial gold setting, with the warm yellow gold bringing out the colour of the rubies beautifully.

I especially love the minimalist feel of this one. The low profile and classic half eternity design make it feel incredibly wearable, while the alternating ruby and diamond combination gives it just enough colour and detail. A lovely example of late 20th century fine jewellery with a timeless feel.
