Vintage two tone creole hoop earrings, in 9 carat gold

A fine example of the classic hoop, these earrings have a pleasing, chunky look to them. Lovely rounded cylindrical form that oozes sophistication, each side decorated with an engraved or etched wheat pattern, which almost acts like a transition between the white gold and the yellow gold. 

Finished with a hinged French lock closure, these earrings fasten securely and are comfortable to wear. Hallmarked GM and 9kt to the post.

This pair is in vintage condition, signs of use and wear as expected with age. Frame shows minimal wear and tarnish, hinge in fabulous working condition and clasps fasten securely. Small dink to the underneath of one hoop as shown, really not noticeable.

These hoops measure 22.7mm x 18.6mm. Inner diameter horizontally 12.4mm, vertically 18.6mm. Thickness 3.1mm.
